Jerry, I beg to differ. In the final stanza, she changes “Are we” to “We are”. That’s probably the most brilliant part of this: the issue is resolved, and yet, the passion maintained to the final note. Reply
All the great songwriters intentionally leave the meaning a bit vague and obscure. This could be the next classic YouTube music video! Reply
