The one Andrea &amp; I use on our local project blog for scheduling is http://wpcal.firetree.net/. It adds an event category (which you can name whatever you like) and a metabox on the edit post page where you can set the schedule. It adds the schedule to the_content &amp; comes with a couple widgets. 

The /category/event-cat-slug/ gives you all the posts that have a schedule on them.
