I have spoken out loud what you say here about the way that schools and especially IT departments within higher ed (too often) worry too much about rules and regulations and not enough about the core mission of the institution--that is, (not to educate students, which implies we *do* something to them) but to provide a context in which students can learn. And that&#039;s not easy and it&#039;s messy, but damn it&#039;s fun!</description>
