I think it’s interesting that Microsoft seems to think that to add their own kind of value to an iPod-like device, they’ll need to consider including games innthe mix. That sounds to me more like a Game Boy or PSP than an iPod. Or maybe an iBoy or GamePod or a PortableiBoyStation. I don’t know. The names — they make my head hurt.
Of course, a huge part of iPod’s success has to do with Apple’s commitment to and success at making media for the devices available for a reasonable price through a fairly simple interface.I wonder how Microsoft can compete on that front?
